Caretaker Sindh cabinet sworn in; ministers assumes offices

KARACHI: A 10-member caretaker Sindh cabinet was sworn in on Saturday at a ceremony held at the Sindh Governor’s House.

Governor Kamran Tessori administered the oath to the cabinet members. The ceremony was also attended by caretaker Sindh Chief Minister Maqbool Baqar. According to a notification issued on Saturday, the caretaker cabinet includes Brig (retd) Haris Nawaz, minister for home and prison affairs; Muhammad Younus Dagha, minister for planning, finance, development and revenue; Mubeen Jumani, minister for local government, housing, town planning and rehabilitation; Saad Khalid Niaz, minister for health, social welfare and public health engineering; Junaid Shah, minister for youth affairs, sports, culture and HR development; Rana Hussain, minister for school education, college education and women empowerment; Ishwar Lal, minister for irrigation; Arshad Wali Muhammad, mnister for tourism, environment and climate change; Omar Soomro, minister for law, religious affairs and human rights; and, Khuda Bux Marri, minister for mines and minerals. – news agencies
